GO BACK HOME
I have invested much of my short career in art making into exploring intimacy in public space. Through kisses, touching, poetry, and conversation I have discovered moments of softness amongst strangers, classmates, and colleagues.
Covid safety protocols weaponized many of the tools I had cultivated to design spaces for sweetness.
Now we/I learn to Isolate. We/I try to be alone. To remain well and safe we/I try to defeat nostalgia and lean into alone(ness).

I AM NOT GOOD AT IT YET
P.S. Being alone is a privilege I have access to because I am housed, able bodied, generationally wealthy, skinny, extroverted, white, educated, and cis gendered.
